Rx for Boredom

Recently, at one of our meetings, it was my duty, as Secretary of our group, to get up and address the whisperers in the room. What I would like to know is, have these same whisperers ever gotten up to talk out loud with a mouth that feels like dry cotton, knees that feel like jelly, and a heart pounding like a hammer, trying to word things right, and above all to give a word to the guy or gal sitting on shaking hands who wants to find an answer to an alcoholic problem? Come on now, just remember, that could be YOU, up there in front, with people down here ignoring YOU as they chin about baseball or knitting.
