I've Retired

I DO not believe that there are very many men who have retired from two careers at my age of thirty-eight years. On December 31, 1953 I retired from the U.S. Army after about twenty years' service. During that time I had been on every continent of the world with the exception of Antarctica and I had fought in one declared and one undeclared war. My retirement day was a long awaited day for me.
