What Makes AA Click?

AA WAS first introduced to me in December, 1954. Had a personable stranger been presented to me instead, my reaction might possibly have been to think, "This casual meeting holds promise of developing into a pleasant friendship." That was my attitude after my initial experience with AA. Prospects looked good. How good the acquaintance proved to be is something I never could have imagined. AA has grown in my life from an agreeable contact to a way of life that I regard with wonder and awe.
