PROGRESS REPORT

ATTENDING THE UTAH SCHOOL of Alcohol Studies at the University of Utah for a week, I was tremendously impressed by the progress of the fellowship in that state, particularly by its cooperation with the state's effort to help the problem drinker. There were many excellent discussions at the school but the help of AA was the main theme. Having been associated with our State Commission work for three years, my conviction grows that the foundation of Alcoholic Anonymous was also the foundation of the many other current and sensible approaches to the problem.
