From the Grass Roots

In answer to F.A.R.'s "Coffee Nerves" (Ed. note: in the November issue "Grass Roots" F.A.R. went on record as "just plain hating" coffee and its alleged ill effects on alcoholics.): I wonder if he believes in our Serenity Prayer and uses it sincerely as a member should? I am a full-time alcoholic and did not do anything about it for almost twenty years except hate and resent everything and everybody. Three years and six months ago I sincerely came into AA, and now I thank the Higher Power for removing the hate and resentment I once had. I now have contentment, peace of mind, and happiness.
