It Won't Work, the Man Said

I AM too new in AA to know much of anything first-hand about the old building at 334 1/2 West 24th Street in New York City. Yet for the past three and a half years I have found it difficult to get away from the place. I don't know what's the matter with me; many sober AAs have managed to get completely away from the building and the meetings that take place in it, have managed to transfer their AA activities into the channels of other groups, other meeting places, other haunts.
