Know Your Cloud

ARE you riding a pink cloud since coming into AA? I was for the first three months. When my sponsor and the older AAs in the group would casually ask me how things were going, I would sound off at length and wind up with telling how the members of my family would look at each other in wide-eyed wonder at the change that had come over me. Then, my newly-made AA friends would smile patronizingly at me and say, "You're riding a pink cloud, but don't worry, you'll come off of it in time."
