Escape to Nowhere

I WAS a potential alcoholic in my early teens, because of the many experiences which took place in my life. When I was faced with problems I could not cope with, I hastily left the scene, I turned my back on reality, refusing to accept an unpleasant situation. I ran away from everything life stood for. I would neither seek advice, nor would I ask for guidance, I knew it all. Consequently, I always sought the easiest way out of any and all situations. As I ran from one unpleasant experience to another, I became enmeshed in a web of circumstances.
