Horatius Kept the Bridge

MACAULAY'S celebrated poetical figure who defended a bridge against superior forces had nothing on me. I, too, valiantly defended a bridge (mythical) against the onslaughts of family, friends and others who sought to cross it and mould me into their image and likeness.
