A Lump in the Heart and a Bump on the Head

WATCH ME GROW, G-R-O-W, go right on working. AA to me is an ambulance, a meat-wagon, dragging along behind, gathering up the lame and the wounded, making bandages, soothing hurt feelings, a cot here, a little food there, and on and on clear around the clock. The AA that I have is a combination of public speaking, salesmanship, human relations and applied psychology. Every time I say a new word it startles me like a fire-cracker went off too close by. Whatever AA is, I know that it works and I am a witness to the fact that it does.
