Easy Does It & General Service Fund

FOR THE LAST FOUR YEARS, I have been guilty of heckling reluctant groups into parting with enough "filthy lucre" to discharge their obligation to General Service Headquarters, and thereby to the alcoholic "who does not yet know." My efforts were applied to those who seemed to be the key individuals in the groups contacted; but my reception, for the most part, was colder than the proverbial "Mother-in-Law's Kiss." Most groups did come through, although with some reluctance on the part of a few.
