From the Grass Roots

I HAVEN'T BEEN LONG on the AA program, but the ability to stop and think in moments of crises instead of ducking into the nearest bottle of alcohol is priceless. The answer always comes, and through AA I am discovering how to live with the answer--although it may not (and it sometimes is not) be the one I desire, because as yet I have not the wisdom to evaluate the wisest course for me. However, once I am ready and willing to accept this answer as being the will of a higher power the fog lifts. This power is my business manager into whose keeping I have entrusted my life and affairs.
