LAST NIGHT I read the Third Legacy Manual and was immediately so ashamed of my own thoughtlessness that I went downtown and looked, up Judge R. (delegate) and gave him three bucks for this year's head tax (three years sober, and so cheap!). We're going to order about ten dollars worth of the Manuals and then get our membership to read them (the task). It is appalling to think how many of us have taken the organization for granted, and all its services, believing somehow that everything would be taken care of in some mysterious way without any help from the very people who have benefited the most. I am yours in any way I may serve in the future. . . .
