Grapevine Articles in Demand
WIDENING THE SCOPE of material in the new 64-page Grapevine has resulted in requests from five different non-AA sources for permission to reprint various items. "Inventory," publication of the Alcoholic Rehabilitation Program of North Carolina, will reprint the articles on the Alateen movement from the August and September GV, as will the Al-Anon Family Groups in a pamphlet for young people; the Yale Summer School of Alcohol Studies will mimeograph "The Churches and Alcoholism," from the September issue, for its ministers' seminar: the Detroit Committee on Alcoholism plans to distribute reprints of Bill W.'s "Let's Be Friendly with Our Friends. . .the Clergy" (September issue) to 700 ministers and a number of Catholic clergy; and the Michigan State Board of Alcoholism has requested permission to reprint all four of Bill's "Friendly" series which ran in July, August, September, and October.
