MORE PIGEON TALK

. . .I am in hearty agreement although I am still working on a new title if any. The word pigeon is especially obnoxious to me because I believe that being tagged with this title has been instrumental in keeping my wife, an alcoholic, away from the AA which has tried so hard to show her a new way of life. Speaking for myself, I know the resentments and antagonisms of the alcoholic and being tagged as a pigeon seems to make some people feel that other words such as "bum," "drunk," "wino" might just as well be used. Perhaps the name "prospect" might be used, just as in selling: the customer is in this category until he comes over to your way of thinking and sees the light.
