Years in AA

I AM NEW IN AA AND AA IS NEW IN ME. I am so new that I do not understand what it is, or how it works, but I am going to meetings--drinking coffee, eating lots of cake and helping to pay for the things we have that must be paid for. And if I were to contribute many times more than what I do, it would be a very small amount of money in comparison to what I have spent for liquor. And I am happier with this AA way of life.
