The Man in the Hole
A SICK ALCOHOLIC lay in the bottom of a deep hole where he had fallen during a drunken stupor. He cried for help. A doctor passing by heard the cries and leaning over the top of the hole said, "Give me your hand, my friend, and I'll help you."
