Across the Editor's Desk

YOU'VE LEARNED BY NOW THAT THE GRAPEVINE IS GOING UP IN PRICE. . .just like Big Steel and groceries. But we like to think that our meeting in print was always--in good times and bad--worth more than we could ever charge. We thought so at any rate when we first carried home a copy from our first meeting (Oh, night of first-freedom!). And even now when we settle ourselves to its warm presence days after the labor of putting it into print. . .we still think so.
