A Correction for the Record

THROUGH ONE OF THOSE EDITORIAL MISHAPS that occur from time to time in the publishing business, an unaccountable error turned up on page 48 in last month's Grapevine: "In May a New York broker met a Cleveland doctor. . ." said we, although we know as well as all of AA that Akron is the Ohio city where Dr. Bob and Bill met in May of 1935, and where the first AA group began. We expected a deluge of gentle but pointed criticism. . .and thus far have heard from only one reader--which signifies, we hope, broad tolerance rather than once-over-lightly-reading! In any case, the record is hereby corrected: "In May a New York broker met an Akron doctor. . . ."
