From the Grass Roots

AT FIRST we didn't quite like the above title as a collective phrase that might embrace all the sensations experienced during the first year of our sobriety. Yet on second thought it seemed fitting. The Proud Year. Yes, to all of us that first year will forever be the year of years. Time never seems to dim the glittering memories of all the thrills and the heartaches of that first year.
