AA Around the World
From London
AA OVERSEAS PASSED A MILESTONE with the formation in London this past summer of The General Service Board of Alcoholics Anonymous (Great Britain and Ireland) Ltd. In purpose and function it parallels, in its own area, the General Service Board of AA in New York as a custodian of AA Tradition and service agencies. Of the seven-member Board, two are non-alcoholics. One of its first acts was to assume responsibility for Alanon Publications, changing the firm's name to Alcoholics Anonymous Publishing Company of Great Britain & Ireland.
