GRATITUDE AND SERENITY are two of the most characteristic marks of the truly successful AA. Gratitude to God, because but for the grace of God there would be no serenity. Gratitude to AA, because without its members the new-found sobriety would never have been achieved. Gratitude and serenity are two sides of the same golden coin of sobriety.
