AA Around the World

FROM EL SALVADOR, CENTRAL AMERICA<lbNews, comments and letters from and about AA's worldwide outposts and centers--gleaned from letters to the Grapevine and General Service Headquarters, and from the "AA Exchange Bulletin," published monthly GSH

TRANSLATIONS of the following two letters to GSH of recent date require little or no comment. They are both from the same writer. . . .

Dear Sirs,

In the past, I don't remember the date, I asked for your help and you sent me the pamphlet, "AA of New York" [sic].

It was difficult for me to send you the $3.50 that it costs for the book "AA of New York." The difficulty was because I was continually drinking. Today, a few months have passed without drinking, and I hope you will send me the book, charging it, and on its receipt, I will send you the total cost of the book, "AA of New York," or the $3.50 that the book in question costs. . . .

Dear Miss,

I received a copy of the book, "AA," and although I haven't finished reading it, I am very content.

For that which you are doing for my regeneration, I hope that God will recompense you.
