THE EARLY AA SCRAPBOOKS contain, among the myriad routine news clippings, an occasional nugget of pure gold. The article that follows is just such a treasure. It is material excerpted from a long sermon which Dr. Sockman delivered over a nationwide radio broadcast on December 5, 1943. The program, "National Radio Pulpit," had an enormous audience.
