Are You In Your Second Childhood?
A FRIEND OF MINE once lamented that it was practically impossible to keep a baby in the house. Children grow up too fast, without knowing the wonderful things they leave behind them: their marvelous, built-in sense of justice, for one thing, for who ever heard of children resenting punishment they knew they'd earned? Their complete faith in their parents' power to guard them, for another, and their acceptance of all the world as a friend, for a third.
