From the Grass Roots
IN A LETTER written by A. T., New York City, which appears in the "Grass Roots" section of the November 1957 Grapevine, we learn that he suspects an effort on the part of the AA Grapevine to stimulate circulation; he infers that this is an infraction of the first part of Tradition Eleven which states that, "Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion." Another letter written by Al K., Charleston, West Virginia, which appeared in the January 1958 Grapevine, vigorously supports this inference.
