The Richest Man In San Francisco

I'M SO RICH that I can carry all my material possessions in one small zipper bag and one shopping bag. I'm in such good physical condition that I can stride rapidly from Old St. Mary's to the top of Nob Hill and beyond--and really enjoy it. I can work all day with a pick and shovel and do thirty pushups for an appetizer. Right now I'm loafing on about eighty-five bucks a month. I have a talent for loafing. It's an art that only grown men can hope to master. I'm fifty, and I'm growing up. Can't remember feeling better--even when I was a kid playing football. I'm a free, beholding, and jubilant soul. I've finally triumphed over the devil and found happiness within myself--happiness and the warm glow of spiritual companionship.
