The Rain Falls Harder Into Some AA Lives

ALL OF US HAVE SEEN people come into AA with a sincere desire to stop drinking and find a new way of life. We know what the newcomer is going through. We have been there. We know from experience. We know that we can't do it alone. The majority of us find that our lives become more comfortable, and learn the real meaning of humility, honesty and tolerance. The joy in thinking of others spurs us on. . .we get to know ourselves. We try to accept the things we cannot change and ask help to find the courage to change the things we can.
