. . . .I maintain my own equilibrium, sobriety, serenity and--most helpful--"a great awareness of gratitude." which I daily express. And I do have a quiet time, each morning before I turn to (go to work). I do have a period of "Getting aware of the Higher Power." And if the need arises, and the call comes from any of my shipmates for information, guidance, direction or encouragement, I am ready and ever so willing to be of service to them. But as yet, I have had no calls for, nor contacts with, anybody aboard who has shown any degree of interest in what I have to offer. However, the season is not over yet, and I am not frantically casting around for contacts; perhaps this period of aloneness is to show me that even in seclusion I am not alone, for the Power on High maintains me in balance. . . .
