From the Grass Roots

WHILE PERUSING MY COPY of the October Grapevine I found it necessary and interesting to read over several times "From AA's Scrapbooks: 1941." I was not subscribing to the Saturday Evening Post in 1941 but it was from the several copies which were mailed to me anonymously and which contained Jack Alexander's article that I first heard of AA. Having taken Step One unconsciously without ever having heard of a Step One, I wrote, without outside urging or prompting, to the box number given.
