To Garnish . . . or Tarnish?

ONE OF THE GREATEST perplexities of human nature is our delight in "taking the other fellow's inventory"--to use our AA parlance. There is no other quirk of human nature so common or so malicious. All of us have at one time or another been guilty of this cruelty--and many of us have been the butt of it.
