I'VE BEEN IN THE NAVY since December 1941 and have been in the Hospital Corps since March 1942. I am an x-ray technician and have been an alcoholic since my first drink at the age of six, I believe. I've drunk "pink lady" in the best dark rooms in the Navy, believe me. If you could see my "Abstract of Service" you'd understand what I mean when I say I'm the most transferred sailor in the Navy. Luckily I was never court martialed for drinking. They just transferred me to someone else and gave them the headache.
