NCA Annual Meeting--"The Community Speaks

THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE of the National Council on Alcoholism will cover three days in 1958 as it did last year, according to the NCA "Newsletter." It will feature two full days of workshops on techniques used by local affiliates, as well as a day-long session devoted, for the third straight year, to the Homeless and Institutional Alcoholic. The Annual Meeting, on the third and final day, will hear community leaders active throughout the country in the formation and work of local Committees on Alcoholism. The luncheon address will be presented by James F. Oates, President of the Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States, and a member of the Sponsoring Committee of the Chicago NCA affiliate.
