From the Grass Roots

I READ an article in the AA Grapevine on why we go to meetings. I would like to give my opinions on that question. Some people tell me that when you are in AA ten years and ten months you don't need meetings anymore. As long as I am in AA I will always need my meetings. Every time I go to a meeting I learn a little more about myself and what would or could happen if I reach for that first drink. It has been a wonderful way of life though I have had my ups and downs. I became an alcoholic epileptic while drinking but since I've been sober I have not had a spell.
