The Unshakable Knowledge

SINCE the "New Grapevine" appeared, room has been found for a series of articles by Bill, by "J. P. L." of Philadelphia, and from doctors and psychiatrists dealing with the fruits of the AA tree of knowledge. God bless those who take of their time to write this type of article. Dr. Silkworth pointed out years ago in the first edition of the Big Book that alcoholics had to be given a bone with meat on it. The Big Book says alcohol was only a symbol in our lives and then goes on to envision for us a plan which will cure the whole man, for we are sick in body and mind and spirit.
