Short Snorts

"At an out-of-town meeting at which I was a speaker," relates Don M., Chappaqua, N. Y., "I put a five-dollar bill in the basket, intending to get four dollars in change from the treasurer later on. However, I forgot, and it was several weeks before I ran into the treasurer again. When I tactfully mentioned the incident of the five-dollar bill, he nodded thoughtfully.
