From Captain Jack to His Buddies

WITH now more than thirteen years of sobriety under my belt I look back on the first long voyage aboard the Algonquin, which lasted for fourteen months, and wonder how I ever made it--little realizing at the time that this was to be; the beginning of a group which would spread eventually to seamen sailing under many flags.
