News from Buenos Aires

ARGENTINA

THE news from Buenos Aires is pretty good. Our group is growing, slowly but surely, and I even think it might be getting too big. I have been worried because none of the other members are willing to start other groups. I wrote to Lyb in New York about this. . .and presto! The wonderful girls at our GSO came with a suggestion by return airmail: an office, an Intergroup Office, even if there is only one group in Buenos Aires, so that we may be able to work in a more organized way and encourage new members to start new groups with the help of old timers. Lyb tells me that in Baltimore they had the same trouble about ten years ago, and after the Intergroup office started the groups were eight, in a very short time. God bless the GSO Staff! I am sure that you people in the U. S., who are already organized and have an AA over twenty years old, do not realize as well as we do the wonderful work "New York" does. I am sure that without GSO it would be impossible to form groups in Latin American countries, and keep them going.
