Do I Belong Here

MY name is Liz and I'm an alcoholic. One year ago I could have made that statement and convinced everyone in the room that I was telling the truth--with one exception: I didn't believe it myself. Sure, I had a problem with my drinking and I realized I would have been much happier if I did not drink--otherwise I would not have called on AA in the first place.
