The Big Problem

HERE is a copy of a letter received by one of my boys. He had been frequently hospitalized, without much success, mainly because he always tried to "go it alone," and refused to participate in AA when he was out of the hospital. This letter from his wife did more to change his thinking than I could ever do by logic or lung-power. I am happy to report that he is presently a zealous and active member of a Duluth group. We have a sixty-day program for alcoholics here at Moose Lake State Hospital, one hundred percent AA-oriented. We see miracles frequently. . .this was one of the nicer ones.
