the Anonymous Alcoholic in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, in spite of its worldwide fame, is really a small town. To the practicing alcoholic it presents all the problems any small town offers, no matter where it appears on the maps. Everyone knows everyone's business--there are no secrets that can be kept for long. More gossip is rampant around this town than ever finds its way into the so-called gossip columns and magazines. Hence the alcoholic has a particularly difficult time keeping his career in line with the so-called normal standards prevailing here.
