ENCOURAGEMENT PLAYS A PART

TO ME there is not doubt that meetings give us confidence in ourselves. Encouragement from other members plays a big part--group therapy is a big thing and in our small group it played an important part for us all. I know AA is a daily program but the closer I get to my first AA birthday the longer the past year has seemed. I haven't any desire to drink but I wonder if anything will go wrong. It's hard to get completely away from alkie thinking or drinking-thinking at times--for me at any rate--and so, as Dick said in one of his Chit-Chats "my security is based on my insecurity" and I'm keeping close to meetings, members and God.
