Return to Yesterday

MOST of us have made a return journey to the place or places in our drinking life where we have most grievously defaulted our purpose, our being, and our gift of life. We approach it differently, depending on the length and measure of our sobriety. We gain from our revisiting, in pain or freedom, in proportion to those insights we are ready to experience in our growing self-knowledge and awakening consciousness.
