Alcoholism and I
"I AM an alcoholic." This is a statement that I have found extremely hard to accept ever since becoming interested in the Alcoholics Anonymous program. "I am an alcoholic." Certainly, looking at that sentence on the surface, acceptance should be easy. But, to me, the implications of such a statement are so final.
