Let's Stop Squelching the Old-timer

An AA youngster's honest inventory reveals jealousy of his AA elders

DRY! What a horrible way to live, just dry, without any of the "fringe benefits" of the AA way of life. Yet that is just exactly what some AA youngsters would have the so-called old-timers do from here on out. They don't want them to speak in meetings any more, they don't want them to write articles for the Grapevine any more. In every way they want them to stop working that part of the Twelfth Step which says quote, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, unquote.
