I was introduced to the Grapevine on the very day two AA members came to call on me, at my request for help from AA. Among the literature they left with me were several copies of the Grapevine, which I read eagerly and with great pleasure. Right away, I was given a glimpse of AA world-wide, and I believe the practice of including a Grapevine or two with the literature we take on a Twelfth Step call should be encouraged.
