Our AA magazine is doing a good job. However, I would like to offer a few suggestions. The cartoons are funny and humor is the lubricant that makes life bearable at times, but articles like "How to Drink With Impunity" and the new series of "Topers" just seem a little out of tone with our very, very serious problem. It is my opinion that how much we drank means little--the message is how we are staying sober today. To the fellow who is "just in" it is not a laughing matter at all. AA does not have all the answers and so we should try to retain humility in our press.
