Across the Editor's Desk

The Editors are sometimes depressed by items in the daily mail but occasionally a letter arrives which spreads sheer delight throughout the office and reminds us that we too can baffle and confuse. The following comments on a recent report sent to all past and present General Service Delegates and GVRs (Grape Vine Representatives!) takes our inventory all right, all right. From T.W.R., Alexandria, Va.: "In your report to me on Grapevine subscriptions, you refer to something called GVRs and advise me that Virginia hasn't got one. Is that good or bad? If it is something we should have, please advise me how to order it. Does it sell singly or do you buy them in bulk? If the latter is the case, does it come by the unit, by the dozen, by the yard or by the gallon?
