Anchorage area AA is growing tremendously these days. We are reaping the rewards of active membership--it seems that the more we try, the greater the incentive. We are fortunate in having splendid cooperation from our local news media. The radio stations announce the daily meeting several times during the day, we have AA participation in television shows from time to time, and all this carries the message to many that we do not reach in our personal lives. How true it is that the "newcomer" is the life-blood of our program.
