It Comes to Us
We often hear, "... and then I came to AA." But how often AA comes to us!
THE speaker was doing a bang-up job. This was his first lead and I was electrified. This speaker had told me so much that jogged my memory importantly. He and I were actually living together in the past, for that moment at least. Then he said, "It was at about this time that AA first came to me." Those few words were like a bursting grenade for me. Why? Because it was merely different, or perhaps because it pointed up some simple truth which had escaped me all these years?
